Why do nations turn to violence?

A large number of writers ,intellectuals ,and journalists who work for the media controlled and monitored closely by government in the region write a lot about the people’s conditions of the region and accuse them of being intolerant who are inclinable to violence and chaos and also of being uncivilized people who don’t know how to co-exist and live together in harmony. Each writer starts to portray the public as monsters that live in jungles and each puts the inclination for violence down to various reasons at their own desire and the desire of the people who pay for them in return for their work. Some of them accuse the religion of the majority of being the origin of the ignorance and the loss of peoples or they  blame the education system for being inadequate to foster the awareness of the public.People themselves are accused of being incompetent to move forward and advance in order to move toward developement just like the developed countries.they point the finger at everything except for the ruling systems which are the main roots to this resort to violence!  in every country the powers that be highly rely on such writers using mass media as a tool for portraying them as social elite and for diverting the public attention away from the ruling systems and the responsibilty of the authorities for what is happening to their countries and nations. These writers even hold the religion responsible for this tendency for violence and for being rigorious but they do not dare to speak up against the ruler or his regime that play a major rule in spreading ignorance and throwing the public to the wolves as well as lotting the nation’s resources for monopolozing power and supressing people. In case a writer gathers the courage to speak out against such brutal acts which are done by governments this means he is putting his life and career at risk.

Apart from such hired writers.let’s contemplate a letter on toleration by the English philosopher John Locke in his letter we can see causes which drive people to violence and the responsible people for it and why do people resort to it as a means to speak their mind. This letter was wriiten by Lock in a similar situation to the one we are refering to that holds religion accountable for violence and in response to that matter Locke states that when people conspire against the government it is not religion which inspires them to do that but it is persecution which pushes people to do such actions. this explains that public’s  inclination for violance is a natural reaction to oppression which is practised by government and this oppression is the root for violence.Suprassion might  be an effective short-term way to stamp on people but this way is just deepening people’s anger and making them like volcanos which are likely to erupt at any moment.

Locke also states that just and moderate governments don’t have to feel threatened ,otherwise the persecution will only result in breaking out civil wars and subsequently people will revolt against injustice and suppression to topple the regime. This identify the disease which is opression and its cause which is the inclination of the nations for violance and the cure is justice. If justice is realized then people will no longer use force to get their own rights. On the contrary they will take part in building up a bright future and making the world a better place to live in.

locke  goes on and says if you want me to prove that religion is not the origin of violence then eliminate all the reasons which lead to violence such as oppression and the unfair laws only at that point in time you will find peaceful people who crave to live in peace but whenever governments use savage methods then people will resort to force even if they are atheistic people or paganish nations .This proves that religions absolutely have nothing to do with violence especially Islam but it is all bound to how governments treat their own nations.
